The Print Shop

The print shop is situated in the heart of Santa Barbara.

The print shop is managed by Jeff's assistant Breanna Tornello. 
 Smaller prints ( < 19" x 26" ) are shipped in a protective clear sleeve and heavy duty chipboard mailer. Larger prints ( > 19" x 26" ) are rolled up, protected with glassine paper, and shipped in a heavy duty mailing tube.

 For In-House printing we use our own Canon ImagePrograf 4100 which combines Lucia Pro inks from Canon with Slickrock Metallic Pearl Paper from Moab to create Fine Art inkjet pigmented prints.

 Our Canon Pro 4100 is capable of producing prints up to 44 inches wide! 

 

 

We've tested 38 fine art photo papers and determined that Slickrock Metallic Pearl from Moab is best for bringing out the details and feeling of our images, especially our astrographs.

 
  

 

On occasion, we opt for Metallic Silver Paper or Canon Pro Platinum depending on what finish best brings out the details and feeling of the individual photograph.

For limited edition prints, a deluxe certificate is included, signed by J K Lovelace. This type of certificate, provided by Hahnemühle, prevents against fraud and forgery by using a serialized hologram sticker and watermarked paper.
